Abbas set to rock Nakuru

All controversies aside, hip hop artist and rapper Abbas Kubaff is scheduled to host an album launch party this weekend at Mama 2’s, Nakuru.

The event will also feature Richie Rich and Kimya of Ukoo Flani backed by Blaze Entertainment DJs.

Mistar Abbas, the title of the new album follows the success of the first solo album Angabanga.

The album has tracks like 'Get Down' and 'A Million Rhymez' both of which have been released.

Although some of the songs have already been released, this will be the official launch of the album.

Sio lazima Road Safety Campaign was started in Dec 19th 2009. Their aim is to mark all black spots on our roads countrywide, train on first aid and build a center for helping road crash victims.

Music is a universal language with most themes being personal experiences. Osogo's first hit album Ageng'o featured someone close to him, only to have death put them asunder. Haiya! explores this loss.

Apart from showcasing and selling their pieces, the exhibition has been organized to help upcoming artists mingle and also get to meet the industry’s seasoned artist and get a few tips from them.

Ethiopian artists set to rock the city

Melkit Hadero and Ellias Fullmore aka BurntFace who will be on a five day visit in the country, will not only perform at scheduled events, but they will also visit the Nairobi National Museum and sample some of the city’s entertainment joints as well as spend time at a community center.

The two artists, will be on a five-day Nairobi visit that will include live performances.
