A number of Coastal/Mombasa based artistes (such as Susumila, Escoba Mchafuzi and the Jacugars group) have gone through him to produce their albums, some of which have been great hits in the region.

Haiya! sought his opinion concerning the pros and cons of the music industry in the region.

Young artistes in Coast are yet to come up with music that belongs to them and this, according to a local producer, could be one of the pitfalls in the industry.
