A Haiya! chat with One 2 Five

Meet Ray Nyatome (Ray Aka Rabsari) and Dan Masika (Dandan Aka Babayao); the two rappers who make up One 2 Five.

The group’s name is derived from their transport route number.

“People residing in Rongai use public service transport means number 125,” explains Ray.

According to them, conscious hip-hop is all about issues that the youth as well as other adults can relate to such as unemployment, corruption, love as well as the effects of post election violence.

One 2 Five is a conscious Kenyan Hip-Hop group striving to uplift the Kenyan society through their soulful Hip-Hop songs.
